The National Autism Society of Malaysia

The National Autism Society of Malaysia is a society formed in 1986 by a group of parents and professionals with the aim of delivering lifelong services to the community of persons suffering from autism. It was registered on 3rd March 1987 as a national charitable organisation and it strives to provide a range of support services to assist people with autism, especially children and their immediate family members. Our vision is to become an efficient and effective organisation that provides services, strength and sanctuary for people with autism. Our mission is to advocate for the rights of people with autism and in doing so, provide opportunities for them to learn and lead a productive and fulfilling life. The centre has an enrollment of 35 students and the age ranges from 4 years old to 22years old. There are 4 classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon with 6 trained teachers. 

We offer lifelong services to people with autism through our various services and programmes. These services and programmes are result-oriented and the emphasis is on the acquisition of skills and improvement in behaviour. The services and programmes offered include: Early Intervention Programme, Transition Programme, Mainstream Programme, Pre-Vocational Programme and Vocational Programme.
